From an Iyengar perspective, it is important to have a good understanding of alignment when we practise Asana so that we gain the benefits of each pose and also avoid injury.

Props are great tools that protect and support us in our Yoga practice, as well as enhancing a deeper understanding of the Asana and of ourselves.

In this three hour workshop you will be guided in the use of a variety of props to encourage opening, stretching, strengthening and relaxing your body with both stationary poses and flowing sequences.

The workshop will also include the use of props with Pranyama (breathing practices) to further enhance and deepen your practice.

Linda is an eclectic teacher having taught for over 20 years in Sydney, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and the Central Coast of NSW. Inspired by Iyengar and IYTA trained, she gets a deep satisfaction from sharing her Yoga knowledge with others through a down to earth and easy to understand approach.
