“Inner Yoga” is for those looking beyond asanas for a range of yoga tools to support and deepen their inner journey. The sessions emphasise pranayama, mantra, meditation and kriya (with a dose of yoga philosophy), although asanas and sun salutations are also included.
Phil has practised yoga since 1982 and taught since 1990 under the auspices of Acharya Upendra Roy (d. 2006) and Yogacharya Dr Ananda Bhavanani Balayogi of Pondicherry.
Phil is a long-time member and past NSW Representative of the International Yoga Teachers Association, for whose Teacher Training Course he wrote and delivered the curriculum on pranayama, mudra and bandha. His special interest is teaching pranayama.
